The Bible often speaks in various ways similar things like, "that what is seen was not made out of what is visible." The focus of faith is on what is not seen. What is seen is mostly quantifiable. The scriptures also use the term "unseen" in the sense of unquantifiable.

The most valuable things in life are the things that cannot be measured. Money, possessions, status, and fame can be measured in a certain sense. But what about the things that cannot be measured: love, compassion, faith, honesty, commitment, hope, determination, and positivity? If things that cannot be measured aren't there, what is the point in having all the things that can be measured?

Life has meaning or value only when there are things that cannot be seen, measured, or quantified.
