Yesterday I had written about power, wealth and manpower being owned by the same group. When all three of them are owned by a group, they make the law. No doubt that the law they make will be for themselves. Later on, whatever they say become the law.
When the wolf says to the lamb, "You have muddied my stream," that is the law.
When the lamb argues, "Isn't the stream you drink from at a higher point than this? Didn't I drink from much lower point than where you drink?", that's reasoning.
Then the wolf says: "If not you, it could be your dad who muddied my stream". Now, that is the law!
When Jesus says, "Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of heaven," he is telling the rich to stay back.
When he says, "Unless you become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven," he is telling those with authority to stay away.
When he says, "Do be afraid, little flock, for your father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom" he is telling those with numbers to stay away.
When he says, "See that you do not despise one of these little ones," he is telling all mockers to stay away.
When he says, "The first will be last, and the last first," he is telling those with muscle power to stay away.
When he says, "Woe to you who laugh NOW! You will mourn and weep," he is making it clear that a new world is ushering, and there will be no place there for any of those who dispise.
There is no need to wait for the ages for this.
Can you not hear the tolling of the bells for that new world already?!
