Oracle whale

The orca whale, is one of the most endangered species in the world. Only 73 of them are alive today. An orca named Tahlequah - the one in the picture -gave birth to a calf in 2018. For some reasons, the calf died within minutes of giving birth. The mother whale could not bear the sorrow of the death of her baby, which had grown in her womb for eighteen long months and had given birth with great pangs. She carried her baby's dead body above her nose and travelled in moaning. She kept travelling. Drones and observers followed her. One day, two days, three days - she did not let go of her baby. Naturally, the baby's body began to decompose, and the weight increasing. She continued her mourning journey. The world saw it and felt sorry for her. For 17 long days the mama whale traveled carrying her baby's body. She traveled more than 1,000 miles that way!

There is movement in everything in the universe. A movement is caused by another. That by another. Thus, if we go after looking for the cause of each movement, the causes of movement will have to extend infinitely. Since the universe has a beginning, motion also must have a beginning. That first movement could not be caused by a physical movement. It was by a non-physical mover. Thus, according to Aristotle, there must have been an an 'unmoved mover', and Thomas Aquinas, following the same path, argued that the said Unmoved Mover was God.

God is eternal. That means, He knows what is the past, present and the future.

God is omnipresent. Therefore, He is omniscient. God is perfect. Therefore, He is not subject to emotions. Even if we explain God’s nature conceptually in this way, it somehow doesn’t fit with a personal God who is Love!

I love a God who loves me personally, who is my friend and comforter, who suffers with me in my pains, who grieves with me in my struggles, and who rejoices with me in my spiritual victories. A God who not only loves me, but who also endlessly desires my love.

Because Christ loved; Christ suffered. It doesn't become complete if we said that it all happened in the past. Christ loves. Christ suffers- in the present. He suffers today. He will continue to suffer till the end of the world. Because God is Love.
