It is said that masculinity and femininity are basically social and cultural norms that are associated with male and female sexes. According to the Swiss psychologist Carl Jung, there is no perfect woman or perfect man. There is an inherent man in every woman and a woman inherently or in the unconscious in every man. He named the femininity in men the 'anima' and the masculinity in women the 'animus'. He argued that it is there as an primordial memory acquisition through hundreds thousands of years down the ages.

I remember reading somewhere that the most ancient otherness in us is that of gender. Today, society is staggering before the question of whether to move forward or be stranded in history. If the momentum forward is tried to be forcefully stopped, time will slip down and slither away from us. As we use language, history, tradition, or culture as bitts, we see time and the world slipping down and slithering away.

Institutions governed by those schooled in Scholasticism, will take time to heal and be updated. We will wait patiently.
