How good it would have been if the fathers were a little more better?

Of course.

Talking about whom?

Yeah, about ourselves.

On the one hand, the Gen-Z is said to be more honest, straightforward, and empathetic- all over the world. On the other hand, democratic systems are facing collapse all over the world and authoritarian and dictatorial leaders are being elected in. There is an accusation that Gen-Z does not show such distinction in the electoral processes. How do these two realities fit together? Unlike in algebra, equations do not work so well in social realities.

Social observers confirm both of the above realities. But the explanations given about how they go together are generally not how we would think usually. First, let's take the statement that Gen-Z is more empathetic. The empathy of the new generation is more on a social thing rather than an individual empathy. Why are so many people suffering from poverty?; Why are so many people homeless?; Why are there so much discrimination exclusion in society?; Why there is no adequate action against climate change?: These are the type of questions that worry them. They grew up hearing that the previous government was corrupt; they did nothing; they were with the bigwigs: all the stories of the failure of democratic system. In general, they grew up hearing rhetoric that criticized religion and spirituality. The new generation tend to show greater spiritual quotients. And they are not interested in complex and detailed philosophical analyses of the situation. Born and raised in the era of peaking of technology, they are used to doing things the easy way. If democracy has failed so far, then democratic institutions and courts should be done away with or al least sidelined. Since all of that exists, they think that it is only necessary to elect strong leaders who have the will to challenge or sideline the system in order to make effective changes in society. Naturally, in these times of peaking of population, they are electing strong and authoritarian leaders who the younger generation believes are capable of bringing about rapid change.

All this is because the fathers were not good enough! It is a natural consequence of what we have all done!
