It seems that people have all grown up. Everyone has become very serious. There is no time for light moments. People have forgotten to laugh; and if you laugh, it doesn't become laughter. There's no wonderment. I too am there. I am talking also about me. Rationality rules. Judging others has become our hobby. Without any space for doubt, we tend to make statements about the intentions and reasons of things people do!
Look at the discussions on our television . How authoritatively judgments are made about the intentions of others!
Look at the comments scribbled under the posts on our social media that has some political content. What filthy insults!
Listen to the interpretations that people give to a small incidents on the bus, on the train, on the road, etc., listen to the words and language that we ourselves often use - everyone has grown up!
No doubts, no inquiries, no questions, no inquisitiveness, no wonderment, no unknowing!
What exist are certainties, knowledge, answers, dismissiveness, cynicism, judging, and contempt!
At one point Jesus would say that 'what is not understood by the wise and learned is revealed to babes'.
Yes, it's they who get it!

Frozen-ing

I recently watched a short video reel by someone. What it says is, in ancient days religious belief, humans had frozen beliefs. They thought that they "knew" everything. They had no "unknowing" of anything. It is when we realize -we accept that we don't know - spiritual and scientific quest/inquiry begin. Deep spirituality and science commence there. The beginning of science, wisdom and religion is not in knowledge, but in the humility of "unknowing".
Today many of us think that we 'know everything'. That is where quest, investigation, science, wonder, and spirituality get stopped. Thence we become primitive humans again!
